Our mission and vision

For the glory of the Triune God and the good of mankind.

Our ultimate goal is to do everything for the glory of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are convinced that the greatest good a person can experience—true satisfaction and purpose—is attained only after embracing Jesus Christ by faith. We do not seek superficial well-being, but the comprehensive transformation that occurs when a sinner is reconciled with his Creator.

We seek to plant a vibrant local church, composed of believers who not only know doctrine but are zealous for good works, dedicated to brotherly love and mutual encouragement, thus reflecting the character of Christ in our community.

Our sanctuary
Our theological foundations

Four convictions that hold us.

01

The centrality of the Word

Expository preaching

At Trinity Baptist Mission, the pulpit is the heart of our worship. We believe that the most important spiritual nourishment for the believer is Christ-centered expository preaching. Our focus is not on human opinions or self-help messages, but on faithfully unpacking Scripture to reveal God's plan of redemption from beginning to end.

02

The doctrines of grace

Salvation is of the Lord

We delight in the truths of sovereign grace. We recognize that salvation is God's work from beginning to end: from eternal election to the final preservation of the saints. These doctrines are not mere intellectual concepts, but the foundation of our humility, comfort, and worship.

03

The legacy of the Reformation

The Five Solas

We stand firmly on the shoulders of those who rediscovered the fundamental truths of the Gospel.

  • Sola Scriptura The Bible is the supreme and sole authority in matters of faith and practice.
  • Sola Fide Christ's righteousness is imputed to us solely through faith.
  • Sola Gratia Our salvation is a free act of God's mercy.
  • Solus Christus Jesus Christ is the only Savior and Mediator between God and man.
  • Soli Deo Gloria All praise belongs eternally to the Lord.
04

Baptist convictions

Historic, confessional Baptist roots

As Baptists we hold to these core, historic Baptist convictions:

  • Believer's Baptism Baptism for professing believers, by immersion, signifying union with Christ.
  • Regenerate Church Membership Membership requires credible profession of faith and evidence of new birth.
  • Autonomy of the Local Church Each congregation self-governing under Christ, free from external authority.
  • Authority and Sufficiency of Scripture Scripture alone is final authority for doctrine, worship, and practice.
  • Elder-Led Congregationalism Elders lead and teach; congregation holds final authority in key decisions.

“For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.”

— Romans 11:36
A call to the community

If life's journey has left your soul weary, we humbly invite you to join us.

We do not present ourselves as perfect, but as redeemed sinners who have found in Christ a refuge that is sufficient.

Our desire is simply to walk alongside you, sharing the comfort of Scripture and encouraging one another in the love of the Lord. If you are looking for a place where we can marvel together at the grace of the Triune God and rest in His sovereignty, know that you will be welcomed as a brother. Our prayer is that, together with us, you may come to know more deeply the peace that is found only in embracing the Savior.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!”

— Psalm 133:1
